How to Buy

How do I Order my Wedding Dress?
 
Measuring yourself correctly is extremely important when buying a dress online or from a Boutique.  Firstly ask a friend or Wedding Sweet during your mobile visit to help you measure yourself against our Size Chart (a more comprehensive chart is sent to you when you request to place an order).  Or we advise you to have yourself measured professionally by a tailor.
 
A lot of our dresses have corset style fastening so that they can be adjusted by approximately a dress size so if you loose or gain a few pounds you can alter the ties - please note that if the dress you like is listed without a corset style fastening we can adjust the pattern to accomodate for one and this includes Bridesmaid's dresses.
 
Secondly you can put in a Stock Enquiry to see if we have your dress in your measurements available and you can have it within 3/5 working days.  If not we will advise you how long it will take for our company to make this to your exact specifications.
 
Please leave plenty of time to order your dress as it can take 20+ days to make and extra time to ship out.  So we advise to leave at least 2 months from placing your order to having it in your home. 
 
As with anything sometimes you realise that you have made a mistake, so once you have placed your order we then proceed to the 7 day cooling off period.  We offer this period so that if you change your mind for any reason - particularly when ordering a non-stock dress, you have 7 days to inform us.  If you then decide you no longer wish to purchase from us, we will refund the amount payable in full, no questions asked.  This also applies to the non-stock Bridesmaid Dresses.  After which we then continue to stage 2.  We will then contact you again and ask you to confirm your order.  Once we have received your reply this is a binding contract and we cannot offer a refund for any other reason that faulty items if a dress has been made to your direct specification.  As you can imagine - we may not be able to sell on a dress that has been made to fit your body (we are all different shapes and sizes!)
 
How do I Order Bridesmaid's Dresses?
 
As with the Wedding Dresses, measure your Bridesmaid's against our charts listed on the Colour/Size Chart page and make a Stock Enquiry.  Also leave plenty of time for the items to be made if they are not in stock.
 
How do I Order Lingerie?
 
If the Lingerie you require is in stock, simply pop into the basket and pay accordingly.  If you wish to pay by cheque, please Contact Us to request this before purchasing the item.  If the item you require is not In Stock please again Contact Us and we shall order the item in for you for a small non-refundable deposit.
 
How do I Purchase Accessories?
 
As above, if the item you require is In Stock, simply pop into your basket and pay when prompted.  If you require any item in a different colour, please Contact Us and we can order or made for you for a small non-refundable deposit.  If it is one of the handcrafted items we do not require a deposit.
 
Shipping?
 
Shipping is an additional £25 for a Wedding Dress and £10 per Bridesmaid Dress but we prefer our customers to collect their items from us directly or we can deliver so that any faults can be identified jointly and rectified, if this is the case.  All items, regardless, will be checked by Wedding Sweet before shipping out and photographs taken.  The shipping cost of accessories is £2.00 per item but the collection policy also applies.  We take out insurance on all items that we post to you so that if any damage occurs, you can claim for compensation. 
 
REFUND POLICY
 
  • If our items are custom made to fit, we cannot offer a refund for any other reason apart from faulty items and in these circumstances, we must be advised within 5 days or we cannot accept the return and all tags must be intact. Please note, if you wish to view the quality of our items an appointment can be arranged.
  • If you have purchased one of our stock items, we can accept a full refund within 5 days of purchase as long as all tags still intact.
  • Unfortunately we do not offer refunds on purchases of lingerie for hygiene reasons.
  • If the item is damaged 'in-transit' we will hold insurance with the postal company so that we can recover the cost directly from them.
